BLOOD DONATION CELL
Blood donation is the voluntary act of allowing one’s blood to be drawn out of body. It is the greatest gift one can do for the mankind. Donation of blood is few minutes to the donor, but it is a gift for life time for somebody else. We can donate blood 168 times between the age of 18-60 year.
Blood Donation Cell in our College is functioning from the academic year 1998-99. To motivate students, we organize blood donation seminars and symposiums in our College. We conducted blood donation camps in our campus and in which our students & staffs donate blood.
We were awarded the shield for the better contribution to voluntary blood donation in the academic year 2004-05 by Blood donors’ club, Madurai Medical College, Madurai.
