GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL CELL

To solve the various personal and educational related grievances of the students Grievance Redressal Cell is functioning in our college. It was created on 4th September 2009 as a result of the resolution passed in the staff council meeting. The committee shall generally discuss the various basic problems of the students and any unhealthy relationship between the students and teachers or students and non teaching staff of the college and suggest and implement remedial measures.

Parents - Teachers Meeting:

On 26.10.2016, Parents-teacher’s meeting was conducted. Students’ progression on academic performance was reported to the parents and feedback was collected from parents and reforms were fulfilled.

On 11.07.2016, Parents-teacher’s meeting was conducted for fresher’s. Swamiji offered blessings to them. Principal presided the meeting and addressed the gatherings.

On 29.10.2015, Parents meeting was conducted. Students’ progression on academic performance was reported to the parents and feedback was collected from parents.

Extension Activity:

  • A Two-day village camp was conducted during 10.10.2015 and 11.10.2015 at Amaravathipudur village. About 250 students participated in this program. Our students played a significant role in keeping the environment of Amaravathipudur village neat and hygienic. Also they collected statistical informations about the village through specially designed questionnaire.
  • On 12.02.2016, a special industrial visit was organized to the Rural Training Center, Amarathipudur for motivating the students for self-employment. About 200 students visited the center.

Sexual Harassment Cell:

As per the guidelines of UGC an Anti Sexual Harassment Cell has been established by the College to provide a healthy and congenial atmosphere to the staff and students of the Institution. The major objectives of the cell:

  • To evolve a mechanism for the prevention and redressal of sexual harassment cases and other acts of gender- based violence in the institution.
  • To provide an environment free of gender-based discrimination.
