WOMEN'S EMPOWERMENT CELL
Father of our Nation Gandhiji says, “One step for women, Ten steps for the Nation”. The main objective of our women’s empowerment cell is to motivate the young girls to achieve empowerment through education & employment. To develop their employability skills and entrepreneurship skills many activities have been conducted.
Activities
Annual report for the year 2016-17- On 8.03.2017, Women’s Day was celebrated in our College campus. Principal Dr.S.SelvaRani presided over the function. Our faculty members were felicitated for their achievements in education.
- On 28.12.2016, Tamil Elocution was conducted on the topic “Women Achievers”. An Essay writing competition on ‘Women Entrepreneurs in India’ was conducted on 25.10.2016 and prizes were awarded.
- On 16.03.2016, Women’s Day was celebrated in our College campus. Principal Dr.S.SelvaRani presided over the function. Our faculty members were felicitated.
- On 2.7.2015 a Special Camp on Legal Awareness was organized by Legal Service Committee, Karaikudi Taluk Court in our Campus. Mrs.V.Vijaya, Advocate and Ms.K.Manimegalai, Junior Administrative Assistant gave special lectures.
- On 08.03.2015, Women’s day was celebrated in our College campus. Principal Dr.S.SelvaRani presided over the function .Women achievers are honoured by the Principal. Prizes were awarded to the winners.
- A Tamil poem writing competition on ‘Women’s Greatness’ was held on 6th January 2015.
- English Elocution Competition on ‘Women’s Empowerment’ was held on 1st October 2014. 12 students participated.
